Colleen Barnes, RN, BSN
As the Nurse Manager at Care Response, I am responsible for creating and updating individualized client care plans, supervising our home health aides and certified nursing assistants, taking part in the training and orientation of all new employees, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible delivery of care. I received my Baccalaureate in Science and Nursing from Madonna University, and I am a certified Dementia Care Specialist through the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA). I have always enjoyed the home healthcare environment, I take pride in working with the elderly, and I could not ask for a better or more fulfilling career! During my free time I am usually always with my dog Henry, enjoying the outdoors with family and friends, cooking something new, or reading a book!
Alison Shoop, BA
As Care Coordinator, I support our nurses and field staff with scheduling, communication, and the assurance of continuity of care. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Since joining Care Response, I have been blown away by the level of excellence and professionalism of our staff, as well as the meaningful relationships I have been able to form with Clients and their families. When I’m not busy doing all that I can to serve our Clients, you can find me hiking, exploring Michigan, or watching PBS.
